Fall Deworming: Safeguarding Livestock Before Winter

Thomas Brundy

In November's cooler, moist conditions, deworm livestock like horses and goats to combat rising parasites (roundworms, liver flukes, strongyles, haemonchus) causing weight loss and reduced productivity. Horses: Broad-spectrum deworm every 8-12 weeks post-frost. Goats: Every 4-6 weeks; rotate dewormers to avoid resistance. Test fecal egg counts (<200/gram), consult vet. Use ADM Safe-Guard or AniMed Diatomaceous Earth. Visit our store for products/advice to ensure a healthy winter!
